Dr Navin Sinhal MBBS MD FACP FCSANZ is an interventional and general cardiologist. He specialises in medical and interventional treatment of coronary artery disease, advanced heart failure, valvular heart disease and percutaneous treatment of structural heart diseases.
Navin graduated with first class honours from North Maharashtra University, India in 2001. His aspiration to help others stems from watching his physician uncle at work in a local hospital in India and the impact he had on improving people’s wellbeing. Navin was awarded a Doctor of Medicine and dux of internal medicine from the University of Pune, India in 2004.
Since moving to Australia in 2006 Navin has completed his advanced cardiology training at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. He commenced his interventional training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth working with the team that performed the first MitraClip procedure in Australasia. He then moved to The Royal Adelaide Hospital to continue his coronary and structural interventional training, with a focus on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI).
Navin is fluent in Hindi and Marathi languages. He conducts regular clinics at our Ashford, Findon, Modbury, Calvary Adelaide and Berri clinics.
