In order to protect SA Heart and the services we offer, within the current COVID environment, our doctors and team have reverted to a regional based roster and will continue to provide services within their allocated region. Our rooms remain fully operational and all doctors continue to offer Telehealth as an alternative option. We are aware that many of our patients are at higher risk of severe complications of COVID-19 and we are committed to providing ongoing essential care in a safe environment during this global pandemic. Every measure has been taken within our waiting rooms and clinical areas to protect our team and our patients.
As the next stage of the COVID-19 situation unfolds, it is more critical than ever for us to remain vigilant. Whilst everyone at SA Heart remains hopeful that South Australia can avoid a second wave, we will continue to closely monitor our state and government resources for information and guidance.
