Congratulations to SA Heart’s Dr William Heddle who has recently been awarded Fellowship in the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS). Dr Heddle is one of only nine Australian FHRSs, and the only FHRS in South Australia.
The Heart Rhythm Society is seen by many as the international leader in science, education and advocacy for cardiac arrhythmia professionals and patients and represents professionals in over 70 countries. Members are recognized for their advanced training, certification and commitment to the research and treatment of heart rhythm disorders.
Society membership provides specialists with timely and relevant information, professional education and networking opportunities to help them provide the best patient care possible.
Dr Heddle will be inducted into the Heart Society as a Fellow at a ceremony in Boston, Massachusetts in May this year.
We congratulate Dr Heddle on this worthy recognition as a leader in the area of cardiac arrhythmia.
Dr Heddle is also the current President of the Australian Association of Consultant Physicians.
