SA Heart was again proud to be a major sponsor at the Adelaide Northern Division of General Practice AGM held at the Stamford Plaza Adelaide.
Following the AGM guests were invited to attend dinner in the ‘Black and White’ themed dining room where they were welcomed by Dr Simon Hall, Chairman of the Northern Division.
GPs were invited by SA Heart CEO Gerry Mak to complete a needs assessment questionnaire, with the winner of the associated prize draw being Dr David Jones.
ANDGP board member, Dr Richard Heah, presented general practitioners Dr Harpal Gill, Dr Sam Nitchingham, Dr Stephen Salagaras and Dr Yaw Pin Cheong with 30 year service awards for continuously providing valuable medical services to the northern suburbs.
Several raffles were held over the course of the evening and sponsors, including Margot Roberts, Practice Liaison Coordinator with SA Heart, were invited to assist in presenting the prizes.
Entertainment was provided by the Aboriginal dance troupe Tal-kin-jeri, a unique South Australian dance group who research and perform the traditional dances and stories of the Ngarrindjeri people.
