SA Heart opened new permanent cardiac rooms in Coral Street, Victor Harbor on Thursday 6 September. The dedicated clinic will allow SA Heart to service the growing need for private cardiology services in Victor Harbor while also helping the increasing population need for stress testing locally.
SA Heart CEO, Nicole Sykes, says it is an exciting expansion for the team.
“We’re really proud of the care we have delivered to the residents along the Fleurieu Peninsula over the past 20 years and we look forward to continuing to improve our cardiac services in the coming years with our new clinic” she said.
These new modern rooms will deliver better patient access to certain testing and appointments and will allow room for future growth in cardiac services to the residents of Victor Harbor and surrounds.
Founding members of SA Heart, Dr William Heddle & Dr Bronte Ayres began consulting in Victor Harbor in 1995 and, with growing demand, there are now five cardiologists providing care to the community including Dr Bronte Ayres, Dr Peter Waddy, Dr Derek Yiu and Dr Jonathan Cherry who joined in 2018 to service growing demand.
